100 Acres of Pure Family Fun
Whether you're a fan of thrilling carnival rides, live music, championship livestock shows, or mouthwatering fair food, the Boone County Fair has something for everyone. With 100 acres of fun-filled exhibits, entertainment, and attractions, this is the summer event you won’t want to miss.
From the moment the gates open, you'll be greeted with:
🐄 Livestock Shows – 4-H and open class shows for swine, poultry, dairy, sheep, goats, horses, and more.
🎶 Live Music – Local favorites and national acts like Justin Moore with Noah Hicks (Friday night) and Silver Creek Band to close out the fair on Sunday.
🍭 Carnival & Midway – Featuring Skinners Amusements, with reduced ride pricing during select hours.
🍗 Fair Food Galore – Indulge in funnel cakes, corn dogs, fresh lemonade, and local treats.
🚜 Tractor Pulls & Rodeos – Catch the thunder at the Illini State Pullers, ATV races, and the crowd-favorite Demolition Derby.
🎤 Contests for All Ages – Lip Sync Battles, Look-Alike Contests, Karaoke, Talent Shows, and more!
Special Days and Attractions
Here are just a few highlights from this year’s incredible lineup:
- Tuesday, August 5 – Merchant’s Day kicks off the fair with free admission until 4 p.m. (with coupon). Don’t miss the Queen Pageant at 7:30 p.m.!
- Wednesday, August 6 – Celebrate Kids Day, cheer on the antique tractor parade, and end your night at the Monster Truck Show.
- Thursday, August 7 – It’s Senior Citizens Day with daytime worship, amazing animal shows, and tractor pulls roaring into the evening.
- Friday, August 8 – Enjoy cultural performances and JUSTIN MOORE LIVE in the grandstand!
- Saturday & Sunday – Demolition Derby, Draft Horse Hitch Classes, Talent Contests, and even Alpaca Costume Shows keep the weekend energy high.
