Summer in Belvidere means one thing: the Boone County Fair is almost here, and Kunes CDJR of Belvidere and Kunes GMC of Belvidere are proud to sponsor this year's event.
The Boone County Fair is one of the biggest traditions in our community, drawing families, farmers, and fairgoers from all over the region every year. As two dealerships rooted right here in Belvidere, sponsoring the fair is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us for years.

Kunes CDJR of Belvidere and Kunes GMC of Belvidere will have a display set up on the fairgrounds throughout the fair. What to Expect at the 2026 Boone County Fair
This year's fair runs Tuesday, August 11 through Sunday, August 16, 2026.
A few things worth knowing before you go:
- Gates open: 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Tuesday through Sunday
- Admission: Children 10 and under get in free every day, and seniors 65+ get in free all day on Thursday, August 13
- Parking: Fairgrounds parking is free, with designated handicapped parking available
- Grandstand entertainment all week long, including tractor and truck pulls, professional bull riding, pro rodeo, and the demolition derby
- Horse events, the Gamblers Choice competition, and the always-popular Swine Costume contest
- Livestock and non-livestock exhibitors showing off a full year of hard work
- The Fair Queen and Little Miss Pageant kicking things off Tuesday evening with free grandstand admission
Whether you are there for the pulls, the rodeo, the animals, or just a night out with the family, the Boone County Fair has a full week planned.
